It's been awhile since i've done a blog post but I felt that this was a really good example of growing from my mistakes. The other week we were reviewing scientific notation and as I had already learned scientific notation I thought it would be easy (don't get me wrong it was) but I seemed to have a problem with the calculator. I was turning a blind eye to what I knew and trusted in the calculator. You see the problem was that the calculator was off by one zero so i'd always be off by one.I then brought this up in class and we discussed why might the calculator be doing this. By the end of class I understood what the problem was and also learned that I should put more trust in myself and the class.
