Second week of school was pretty great we did a few different things and thankfully i’ve made some friends. In a way i’m happy that most of my friends are in the other class it gives me a chance to make new ones. Besides the fact that i've made new friends i've also made new ways of thinking. Today we started the day off with what seemed as a simple question which was how many paperclips can you make with a 10 meter long wire and each paper clip is 4cm long. Okay, at first I thought “well don't we have to count for all the wire that's put into making a full paper clip?” but then I second guessed myself and thought “no that's too complicated he probably just want to know how many paper clips would fit” and so that what I did. I reviewed this with one of my table members and she thought the same thing but then like me erased the idea of counting the full wire because she also thought she was over complicating things. We sat there thinking we had completed the assignment but we were wrong. When Mr. Ko showed up he hinted at us that there was more than just the length so we fixed our mistake we accounted for the entire wire which took a minute but we finally got. I made a mistake, learned from it and grew by learning not to second guess myself and if i'm feeling doubtful to just ask.
